A challenging time for all developers, not only for those targeting Office 365 and SharePoint solutions. Yuri and Jan take stock of the current state of affairs. We discuss key reasons to choose between SPA’s, Office Add-ins, the major APIs, display templates, Microsoft Azure backends and other rewarding technologies. We demonstrate all the good stuff by building a full demo application intended to highlight interesting options for rapid application development on the SharePoint platform, utilizing Angular, Breeze.js, TypeScript, Office UI Fabric and even the brand new SharePoint Framework.
